
For this day of the Summertime Stream Series, join us in cleaning up Champion Creek, which runs through the heart of Medina City. After all, what is a stream series without a stream cleanup?

IF REGISTRATION IS CLOSED, FEEL FREE TO SHOW UP DAY OF. THERE WILL BE WAIVERS.
Supplies: Closed toed shoes or boots that can be submerged in water.
Uneven terrain: within the stream and along stream’s bank.
Stream Cleanup Guidelines/Safety Rules
- Every participant must wear closed-toe sandles, old shoes, or boots.
- Shoes will get wet.
- We will be walking within the stream.
- Follow your block leader to the designated access point.
- Follow their instructions for entering the stream.
- Be aware of traffic and only cross streets at intersections or when traffic is blocked by the block leader.
- Carry provided trash bags and/or buckets with you during the cleanup.
- Be aware of broken glass, sharp objects, rusted metal, etc and alert the leader if any are found.
- Call out all materials to leader to be recorded.
- Be mindful of others around you. Handle objects with the safety of yourself and others in mind.
- Stay within roughly 200’ of the group and move with the group.
- Notify block leader if you must leave early.
